About this event

Enhance your GED Science and Social Studies Teaching Using Stories for Inquiry-Based Teaching

Description: Want to help your students articulate their reasoning? How about encouraging them to explore ideas and share the perspectives of others? Perhaps fostering a shared understanding of concepts as well? Yes please! In this session, we will explore how using stories for inquiry based teaching presents opportunities for students to ask questions, form hypotheses, test ideas, and come up with explanations. We look at specific examples that center around core skills needed for the Science and Social Studies in the GED prep classroom.
